Our Large Signs can be made of expanded polystyrene and hardened with resins or cements that make them resistant to outdoor weathering
We use EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE or extruded polystyrene, commonly known as polystyrene, to construct large and medium-sized letters and logos with great visual impact thanks to their conspicuous thickness and play of shadows.
Undoubtedly, compared to normal metal box letters or classic luminous signs, the cost of this type of sign is extremely convenient, as the raw material is much less expensive and consequently we can charge unbeatable prices.
Another special feature of these signs is that they are much lighter than other types, and consequently the transportation and application is certainly easier, making the costs much lower.
For installation and transport, in the case of letters to be placed on a shop or shed, we will supply the scrap negative from which the letter has been cut. This will allow for a quick and perfect application, without the danger of some letters being positioned incorrectly. In the event that this is not possible (optimisation of the material or very complex signs), we will attach a template printed in natural size on paper to be placed on the wall, thus giving you the opportunity to carry out a workmanlike job without the constant use of spirit levels.
The weather resistance is guaranteed as all our outdoor signs are treated with special resins that ensure formidable resistance even in the presence of heavy hailstorms. They are completely unaffected by rust and humidity, making them ideal for installation in seaside areas where saltwater is present.
For closed environments, such as events, trade fairs, and exhibitions, we use certified fireproof, non-toxic and self-extinguishing material on request.
Surely, since polystyrene is a very ductile material, we can obtain highly original characters and shapes, without any constraints, and can produce convex, round, wave-shaped, etc. lettering. With the help of our graphic designers, we can create company logos and designs that would otherwise be impossible to achieve with other materials.
Our individual letters can reach dimensions of 1 x 1.2 x 3 metres in a single piece. For larger sizes, simply join two or more parts together with special adhesives to obtain truly large surfaces and remove any size limits from your sign.
